Charles Church, the premium company within the Persimmon Group, are so (not) up to date on their website that they are quoting government targets to be carbon neutral by 2016 - which was abandoned in 2015.
As usual they major on insulation in their Living Green statement. They do mention solar PV and air source heat pumps on their website, so they have some knowledge of renewable technology. Sadly however, the sales advisor at the development at Gotherington Grange, near Tewkesbury, stated that there is no renewable energy installed in any of those properties - even though the top price is over £700,000. They were keen to mention their balancing pond though! The words renewable energy and sustainability do NOT appear anywhere in their brochure. |
